Most major manufacturers (yellow ones, blue ones, green ones etc) have stands and offer amazing deals on certain power tools, especially if you are flexible about model and/or configuration. My Bosch combi drill and battery ended up costing nearly half retail. I’m looking for a multi-cutter tool this year. They often include big batteries and substantial discounts.
Plus, their product specialists are there and truly know an amazing amount about their lines, are happy to give advice whether or not they sell anything. Some of the tool stands are amazing, e.g. the router bit manufacturers. @woodtechs take your credit cards if you want to get good prices on consumables etc.
I got there by train, but it’s a fair way from the station, despite what the maps say. Best to go well before closing on Sunday before they start tearing down.
Registration is free on the screwfix web site, and advance registration gets you a goodie bag with various stuff in it when you arrive.
