You don’t have to register, but get a free gift if you do. The real attraction is that many manufacturers offer big discounts on show special products, on top of the 10% across the board discount, plus other discounts that seem to apply. Last year I got a Bosch combi drill with 4Ah battery, normally sold for about £140 for under £60! All the big tool brands are there, with booths manned by their product specialists who really know the products and have no hesitation in telling you the unvarnished truth. Also, Screwfix have big bins of clearance bargains.
You can get there by train, but it’s a long walk from the station - take your bike! Otherwise, lots of free parking.
