Safety Reminder – Angle Grinder Usage

Hi members,
A few issues noticed with the angle grinder used last night:

  • It was left on the welding bench.
  • It was plugged in.
  • The plug was switched on.
  • The disc is very worn.

Please be mindful when using equipment to ensure safety for everyone.

This is not the first time this week. The angle grinder was plugged and switched on (at the socket) when I went in on Sunday afternoon. I commented on it on one of Brian’s cleaning posts but since it happened again, I’ll repeat here for exposure.

I imagine it’s probably a relatively new member, so maybe the older heads can kindly remind angle grinder users if they’re in the grinding area to properly put stuff away.
