Arthur has been round again asking us not to put the rubbish by the gates as it is still there now and it is encouraging others to dump their rubbish there as well.
Then when ours gets picked up the offending bags are left.
he said it was the same last week when our first mile bags were there all day thursday.
is there anyway we can get first mile to pick up first thing thursday, or pick up from the front of the space?
They pick up on Wednesday night.

@lewisss can you make sure the green bin is there, and I’ll get the rubbish picked up.
Suggestion: Switch back to the old First Mile collection point in the street, or have them collect from outside the space, they’ve been getting increasingly angry about this for a year now, and it would be easy enough to move the collection point to deal with First Mile’s bad service
Rubbish being collected this evening. Can someone make sure green bin is there with the rubbish – it now contains waste that’s several weeks old.

Ah, didn’t realised you’d WhatApped them. Worth another go. P.S. there was a clear bag out there with a pitiful amount in it last week. Can we spread the word about efficiency on this: we pay the same to dispose of an empty bag as a full one.

Can laser a sign that doesn’t look too much like a sign tomorrow for near the bins as it seems to be a recurrent issue… if that helps
First Mile branded bags and green bin to go just inside the gates. But Mark said earlier that the bags had already gone? Doesn’t need a sign : they’ll collect any of their bags, and you’ve labelled the bin very nicely!

I passed by very briefly this morning. The waste has gone, although it looks like a bag split - there were som laser offcuts and sawdust scattered hither and yon.
