Just wanted to check everyone is okay and whether anyone knows what happened.
RTC Norwood Road
According to the police a young female was drunk and got hit by a car.
It seemed to be quite serious and may have been touch and go for a while.
They closed the road from costcutter to the hairdressers meaning that traffic couldn’t come into or out of the estate. Or indeed along that stretch of road.
Seems like they where waiting to hear if it was a fatality to know if they had to make it into a crime scene.
After about 4 or 5 hours they packed up around midnight. She had become stable thankfully at that point.
Meanwhile canopy was full to bursting yesterday. From their’s all the way down past ours to Ahmed’s was jammed. Nuts.
The staff there did a great job tidying up afterwards. You’ld hardly notice.
We kept the door shut all day. Would strongly recommend doing that again today. People getting chucked out of canopy for trying to nick stuff, and not wanting to leave. Luckily the police where there. A couple of fights. Again the police from the traffic incident were there but that didn’t seem to deter the very drunk. Average county fair
