I propose that we add four network sockets by the electrics,
to be surrounded by a cuboard when it is built.
This is for the lasercutter PC, the lasercutter tag reader,
the big printer and the PC that will be a printserver.
All of which should generally stay plugged in all the time
This would make the wall sockets above the side table
available for general use, have less trailing cable and
reduce the chance of people unplugging things.
Even if things get moved around later I think network sockets
in the corner by the electrics will still be useful.
It’s not necessary in my opinion as it’s such a short time they’ll be there, but there is a spare switch knocking around at the moment if you want to use that, but I don’t think it’s a big issue for the mean time, certainly not a good idea to cut holes in the wall for it.
