Using the ThinkPad Lubuntu, the transformer is there, but no power cable!
It’s the C5 or cloverleaf type, and can’t see any spares around.
Has someone borrowed it for another application, or seen it? Or knows where there’s a spare?
This laptop is currently the only device working with the vinyl cutter, and it doesn’t hold much juice in its old battery…
Thats frustrating as it was brought in especially by Frank for this purpose.
On Sunday after I tested the T42 with the vinyl cutter, I replaced the T42 on the top desk of the inter-door contraption.
I put the power supply connected with the cloverleaf cable on top of it.
I don’t know of any other devices which use the cloverleaf, so I suggest you need to interrogate all the Thinkpad users since Sunday.
I take it that you carefully examined the central socket strip!
And I’m not providing another one!
@Dermot, this may be something @jackiekeane can answer as we were on the hunt for one on Monday so she could use it temporarily, we did find one and I’m guessing it’s the same lead… Jackie?

Yes, I found a cloverleaf lead to use on an old computer for Dermot! I put it back either on the storage shelf left of the emergency door from the woodwork room (where I found it) OR if I didn’t it’s under the small table beside the vinyl cutter ontop of pc tower in a dark blue plastic bag.

In parallel I found a spare one at home so have brought it in. It is longer so have put it with the thinkpad.
