Can anyone comment on PSE, specifically on a length of say 4x1 PSE, would you expect there to be any significant bow along the 4inch side?
I appreciate this may be a money/choise aspect to this as well, basically I want to know typically would a 1m length of 4x1 actually be flat.
Depends on how it was cut . And what grad it is .
Okay so these are things to look out for when finding a supplier, and given the right cut and grade the answer is yes it will be flat.
What is it for ? And how flat do you want it ? And where is it going .
The pile of wood in the space is very old and thus stable why don’t you use that?
Or use ply as that is very stable
But yes good quality 1/4sawn wood is very stable
