Hi everyone.
I came to the open evening on Wednesday and helped out afterwards with the construction of the workshop.
I’m available a lot next week (22nd to 27th Feb).
If any one needs help with the construction of the workshop please get in touch I’ll be happy to come down and help.
Paul

That’s a great offer.
Most work takes place either in the evenings or weekends, but we’ve done a few weekday builds when people have been around.
When is best for you?
Ok so availability is:
Monday after 4
Tuesday before 5
All day Wednesday.
does any of that suit you?
Hi.
I have my own tools. Chippy background. Currently got a full time job so I’m available evenings and weekends to help with the initial build.
What needs doing ?
What nights are best to chip in?
Im keen to get this place up and running.
@forepeople - task this man!

Hi Jem,
That would be great!
Are you available Thursday and/or Friday evening this week?
We’re having a big push to get the back presentable for our Genuino/Arduino Day opening on Saturday Afternoon.
There’s doors to hang…walls to clad (if we get the material in time), a deal of stuff to shift…
And we need to get the floor sealed or protected in some way (thinking out loud now)
Cool. Well thursday and friday i can do. Gotta put my kid to bed then can get there for 8pm. Sound good?
We use floor paint for our workshop. Seals nicely and makes it easier to sweep up all the shit at the end of the day.
Needs two thick coats. And it will last us years.
Theres my 2 cents.

8pm is great
We have quite nice spruce ply on the floor, so looking for something to keep that look, but seal it…but by Saturday.
Okay. Well clear sealant is more expensive. What’s the deal with purchasing? I’m in a wurth shop now. I could pick something up?

There’s a lot of discussion going on round this, and I’m not up with the latest decision.

I thought we’d got it down to 2 options.
Ronseal “Diamond Hard” matt floor varnish
cheap and quick/easy to apply
or
Osmo Polyx (R11 anti slip type)
more expensive and more work to apply, but probably harder wearing and a nicer look

See you there Jo.
Any specific tools that might be handy for tonight?

Let’s make a decision and order. Anti-slip sounds like a no-brainer.

So according to that retailer, we’d need 5.7L for two coats. That comes to £177.24
I’m happy to order it if @unknowndomain is also on board.
Delivered tomorrow if ordered by 5pm (delivered where?)
