I have just received some light organic fabric 80 grams per square meter, I would like to try batiks dying where wax is used to repel dye, so that patterns can be subtracted via removing the wax. Has anyone tried this yet? I will be trying it, and am sourcing the tools in case anyone would like to learn this as well? I was wondering if people could recommend natural dye, I have found some online as well as the dye setting stuff I am looking for the wax and have to research how to apply and remove the wax, ( I think just via washing at temperature). I am hoping to make a few custom organic kites from this.
