Just thought it might be worth posting a note: I’m looking for a woodturning lathe so I can do something productive with my time over the next few weeks and months.
I’m after something probably with about 1000mm between centres, solid build (a step up from the Tyme Avon…) and enough horsepower to chew through hardwoods like ebony. Something along the lines of a Record CL3. I’m not fussed about swivel/outboard turning though would be nice.
Any leads/suggestions welcome.
