Membership?

Hello everyone,
Lokking for some advice or help… i posted a topic last week regarding my small electronics project to which i had some amazing responses to regarding helping me get it conpleted.

Ive messaged about membership and concessionary rate and how to proceed but havent heard anything back from anyone.

Would really love to come over, meet you all and see the space in person but from what i understand that can only be done once invited and membership paid… however i reoterate, i havent received a reply to my email regarding membership sent on the 27th Aug.

Can someone advise as im keen to come over and hopefully get my small project conpleted by end of this month, before i begin casting and prepainting the silicone prostethics .

Hi Dave

The next public open day is this Wednesday at 19:00.
The electronics evenings are public access, so feel free to come to one of those.
You can definitely meet with individuals in the space by arrangement.
The only thing you can’t do is operate our equipment without being a member (and having done the appropriate inductions where needed).

@directors will send you a private message regarding concessionary rates.
You could start the membership signup process and just hold on payment until you hear from them.

Just received the pre membership survey which ive now completed.

Is it ok to cone along on Wednesday to see and view the space? If so, what time is good? Do i need to bring anything with me?!

Yes you can come on Wednesday or sooner if someone is in.

Woukd probably be wednesday as im booked through Tuesday into evenibg with visiting and meeting people.

Wednesday im free any time from 2.30pm onwards to come over.

The tours are anytime from 7 to 9pm.
You don’t need to book or bring anything.

Fantastic to meet you briefly this evening Brendon and for the insightful tour of the space.

I definitely want to go ahead and become a member at South London Makerspace, so i can hopefully get cracking on this small electronics project andbhopefully pick your brains on what i am trying to achieve.

Morning Brendon,
Thanks for yesterday. I paid for the membership yesterday evening online after the tour.

Not too sure whether its gone through as haven’t received a online receipt saying it was sent but did receive a email from SLMS about registering as a member etc which ive done. So i assume being requested to sign up as a member means the monthly payment when through?!

When is a good time to come to the space when there are electronic techs around so i can get an idea as to whether what i am trying to do is technically possible?!

I think you need to be a member to see the calendar.

Yes Ive signed up as a member, and have the receipt of payment for my membership, though cant see where the calendar part is on the member area is?!

So shall i still come along at 7pm this evening?
