Anyone here with experience of replacing a makerbot mighty board? @laurent_muchacho?
I have access to a replicator 2 and I believe the mighty board is no longer mighty… as a result it has become a fancy paperweight.
Thanks @lewisss I have seen this video and it looks really easy to do if you have the original board. The problem is that the original board is not readily available and the generic ones all have different connectors…
I never did that but it might be easier (will be to me) to just buy a arduino+ramp1.4 install marlin configure it with the hardware you have.
Otherwise you’ll just need to get a new board plug back everything where you found it get the sailsfish firmware and flash it back onto the board with the right parameter
All look easy on the surface
Easy if you know how… I will dig for a replacement board and prove for assistance if I need it…
