I am not sure maybe there is misunderstanding…
PLY + PLASTERBOARD + PLASTERBOARD + WALL + PLASTERBOARD + PLASTERBOARD + PLY

This means it’s impossible to get into the wall later to add cables.
The double tackling plasterboard is mandatory for a sound proofing.
Its standard practice .
Yes
Given how many times we’ve taken the ply down I reiterate again this is a terrible idea. We’ve still got half a dozen things to take the wall down for in the front again.
Yes
We are just going to have to live with it , or give up the idea of a sound proofing
The side walls will be removable.
Otherwise put conduit in the walls.
This brings up an interesting point about why we are sound proofing this wall?
Seems a bit over the top to me, but we have the material so we have to move on, but we will likely come to regret the lack of access.
I’m not too bothered, but we must put all teh cablez in to the wall now, or we’re up the creek.
Bear in mind that the ply will be stood off on battens, so if you don’t mind protuding socket boxes, you can run cables behind it.
Was planning to put all the tool control atuff on the surface in armed flex so it’s flexible
Why are we soundproofing the wall to the ‘noisy’ workshop? It is that your question?
Put the wires in now. Plus some extras.
Cable trays ?
Whats done is done, lets move on, it isn’t a huge issue.
Doesn’t even really mean that either. We can easily hack out the PB from behind
What time you getting there joe?
Will try to get there by 1600
Good point.
Let me know when you’re 20mins away and I’ll come down
