Have been using the laptop that @frasco installed. Useful if I pop in without my own.
It is promoting to upgrade packages. Do we have a strategy on installing updates.
FWIW, in my experience, Ubuntu updates are generally safe. I do them routinely, almost daily on my home server.
Does the laptop have a special purpose, or is it general use?
