Hi All,
Just to note that the laser cutter computer is currently without wifi access. A few of us looked at it today and re-connected the loose wiring below but to no avail. Might have been due to myself not remembering whether it was the wires from the purple or the black cable which needed connecting - but we did try both!
Thanks for your help on this @lewisss and @pip
Also, just to note that the rotary tool for the laser cutter had thick dust all over it and seemed to have teak oil(?) (on the table above) spilt on it too. I cleaned it up as best I could but couldn’t get the hardened oil off. I’m wondering if anyone can suggest a specific cleaning fluid that would work for this type of issue? Happy to buy if necessary. Can have another go at it on Sunday after the wood induction. Might be a good idea to store the rotary tool in a way that would protect it from getting so dusty too. If i’m feeling brave after the woodwork induction I could have a go at this if there’s no objections?
I’ll check the network connection on the laser cutter on Sunday.
Can’t remember off the top of my head how I wired it last time.
@jonathanjo, could it have been disconnected cabinet end on Thursday?
Either way I’ll run a tester on the line and see what’s up.
That pesky teak oil Again!
It was spilt on a chair last week as well. And had been left. It dried out on the chair. Rolling eyes emoji.
We need somewhere sensible to leave varnishes instead of just lying about being spilt.
