Just wanted to double check that MDF is still not an option in the laser even with the new extraction in place.
I have got some lovely cherry veneered MDF from kitronik that I’d love to use if possible!

The No MDF Rule was put in place when the old filter would circulate the fumes in he room. The new extract doesn’t do this, so the only concern is gunging up the lens. So take care to check the lens and you should be fine.
I’ll update the #tools page when I get to a PC…
That’s great Tom, thanks a lot for letting me know. I’ll do a couple of test cuts and check the lens and mirror before and after. I’ll let you know what I find.
