My first SLM project is a pair of shelves for my kitchen. Wood is Sapele. For the brackets I just used some plastic brackets as a template. Used jigsaw, auto planer, dremel. Then just treated with linseed oil.
People were very helpful in the space. Any problem, you just ask someone and something which would have taken hours is sorted in minutes!
Next project is some bookshelves with a homemade filing system!
