Hi all.
Is anyone at the workshop in the morning as I wouldn’t mind coming over for a few hours in the morning to help out again. I’m thinking earlier the better.
Lettuce know👍🏻
Hi all.

Will be there at about 7 pm but working in the morning , we will hopefully have enough metrals to finish the wall studwork by then
Ok. Can’t do the evening. But keep me updated on when you’ll be there @joeatkin2. This week would be good as I’m not working.
Also, a job board in the workshop might be handy to see where we are at, what needs doing, when we are getting materials etc. Just a thought
Cool , job board ok why not there is a spreadsheet somewhere , i would prefer a bit of paper .
What are you thoughts on putting the floor down?
I say leave it as long as possible as the wood underneath was sopping wet and the ply is dry .
i like the job board idea, i mentioned something like it before, where thers a list of tasks which need to be done, people can put their names beside them as foreman for that task, or co-workers, maybe any other critical info…theres alot to be said for a physical list as opposed to discourse one
It is a good idea, but can be time consuming.
I’ve also had the experience where I’ve written out job lists and then done the work myself anyway.
The big blackboard is a candidate. Plus we have some 8x4s with blackboard paint on them.
Is anyone at the workshop today? Can spare a few hours today. If anything needs doing
Cheers
Yes. I’m down sporadically, from 11.
Conor is also coming. Not sure who else.
When suits you?
I only live 15mins away, so now if anyone’s there. But I have to leave about 1245. For an hour then can come back for 2-3 hours
I’m just pulling up
I’ll be in for a bit from 4
So a job has fallen through this week meaning I’m free to do more work. I may pop down today. Is there a list of things that need doing or carry on with?
@peter_hellyer and @joeatkin2 were there last night, so will know the state of play.
Slow but started the floor .the difficult bit is done.
Sorry we left the place in a mess we were getting tired and wad getting dangerous so we just left the floor has been started i will hopefully be there in the afternoon but you can run it to the door to the woodwork shop , but it will probably take two people to moov the stuff and lay the membrane to get through the door so that the floor goes contusly through the door .
It is really slippery be warned
Ps we still need to put in one more cable , i wad tired and making mestaks so if you are on fire don’t put the last line of bords down .
Feel free to call me if you need to know anything
Did the joists get screwed/spiked to the plates? Also was the structure checked for rocking/bouncing?
Peeat put in some ringnails and i i waked over it and it was quite
This one yes. I spent a happy half hour spiking all the bouncy bits down to the floorplate. Then things got a bit meta and we all felt going home was a good plan.
I’m heading over now. Will get memorial wall ready for foam filling.
Also measure glass so we can get out ordered for the weekend!
Although I believe there’s she tidying to be did?
