I’m on the welove se25 committee and there’s a definite need to communicate our work to the wider community.
I’ve suggested kiosks at community hubs, bit like the SLMS membership tag machine. I’m told it’s too expensive.
What’s the best hardware, OS and software for such a kiosk?
Raspberry Pi 3, a second hand LCD screen, some wood working and a web developer to make the page and run it full screen.
I’ve got an old pi, basic wood working skills and I can make websites in 30 mins.
How about laser cutting the wood? What’s the thickest we can cut at SLMS?
A tablet might also do the job but a large screen would be better?
