PS - one last comment - one of my main reasons for joining was that although the induction rules are a pain when you just want to get chopping, a communal resource used by poorly trained people is long-term painful. I’ve literally not bothered to join London Hackspace for a good couple of years now for that exact reason.

Inductions are something we do need to get on top of in the new year – it could simply be that we need to train far more inductors to make it work, it may well involve videos to prime members for inductions (although these in themselves take a lump of work to make). And most likely a range measures to give the members what they/we want with enough of an eye on safety…
