Breaking news @members,
The access control system in the space is down at the moment, unless it can be repaired access will be severely limited.
I am trying to reimage the SD card at the moment.

I am trying to reimage the SD card at the moment.
Managed to reimage the SD card.
Finally after several hours of messing about managed to get the raspberry pi to pickup the correct IP.
It wasn’t having any of it.
Think that might have been the true cause of the issue, too late now, have to rebuild the Pi image.
System is now updating.
Installing Node.js
YAMS is configured and pulling down it’s dependencies
YAMS is working, now moving on to rewriting the control-node / slmsProxy.js which was lost in the failure
YAMS now starts up after a power cycle with forever as process manager using cron @reboot
I might fall asleep at my Mac at this rate, poke me in the morning.
Finished the control-node project to replace the lost slmsProxy.js. Put it on GitHub this time!
I did consider calling it YAYAMS (yet another yet another makerspace system), but then I dunno…
Here it is anyway: https://github.com/southlondonmakerspace/control-node
Anyone even online?
I am about to go mad, was all working at this bloody new TP-Link switch didn’t survive a power cycle. It’s lost the whole bloody configuration, nothing in the space is working properly anymore.
Looks like it has an active config and a saved config. Guess the config wasn’t saved on Thursday
It works… and I am knackered and sweaty AF. So hot in the space.
Eeek my apologies! I’ll nip down there and redo the switch – yesterday’s work was all figuring out, very little doing. Jonathan.
Hi Tom – sorry again for the disruption: I’ve checked the switch config and seems you did a great job putting it back: many thanks. I’ve put a few of the missing port vlan configs back (to match labelling) for the empty sockets. Talk soon. All best, Jonathan.
Thanks. Sorry I was too tired to stand on a ladder guessing what things were and was loosing my temper at the admin panel
Big effort = big thanks!
Yep mad props for staying all night and sorting out, high fives
