Hi - I'm Jack

Hi all,

I’m relatively new to the area, and would like to head down to one of the open evenings to get a feel for the space.

I have basic experience of woodworking, with past projects including building chairs/benches & speakers. I am interested in exploring furniture building/refurbishing further.

I have also just started a refurbishment of my flat and have pulled down some fitted cabinets, made up of MDF (large rectangular boards). I also have some rolls of carpet & underfloor insulation.

Rather than disposing of it, is there an off-cuts/storage area in the space I could donate it to?

Hi Jack, welcome to makerspace! It’s a kind offer about donating stuff but we are pretty tight for space and members tend to source their own materials for projects so we probably won’t want donations. Have you come down to an open evening to look around?
