All joined up to try to finish the violin I’ve been building for ages. So mostly doing woodwork, but some metal too for making specialist tools I hope. Looking forward to meeting y’all.

Thanks. I’ll bring it down at some point. Almost finished now (

lack of access to a few specialised tools (might try to make them) and a
grinding wheel to sharpen the ones I have already.

I’d also love to make a violin at some point. Would love to learn from your expertise. Was intending to build some bending irons at some point and use the laser cutter to make some accurate molds :slight_smile:

Very happy to help/chat about it. And I’m game for teaming up on bending irons–one of the specialist things I don’t have yet. Peg-hole reamers too, maybe. :slight_smile:
