I’m Alex, i popped in and was kindly shown around by @lewisss over the christmas period, and i’ve finally gotten around to setting up my membership.
I’m a software engineer (mostly backend/Golang) working over in Hoxton, and live nearby in Peckham.
In the past i’ve done woodwork, knifemaking, textiles, and i’m looking to improve my electronics, learn milling and potentially welding.

My first projects i’d like to work on are a floor to ceiling braced bike rack, and 3d print something to fix a poorly designed tap in my flat! I’m looking forward to coming to the electronics evenings, i have a bunch of PCBs for u2fzero.com keys, but haven’t had the time to finish soldering or program them, so will bring a bunch along if anyone wants to grab one!
