The mk1 unit if finished and sitting on the table .
If anyone is interested in helping to test it let me know , its got 10sq foot of surface area

I’m up for it. How will we test it?
I’m coming by right now
Is this tested?
First how to mesher air flow ?
Then draw some curves .
I have a thermocouple
Some kind of barometric thing?
Maybe we don’t need to measure absolute flow? It sounds like the sort of thing that would usually be worked out from fan specs etc. It will also be affected by the natural airflow? Which will vary.
The speed something travels through it would give a relative measurement. Run the fans at different speeds, check temps, draw graphs?
But we need to figure out the absolute area of the mk2 version.
I have a manometer for gas
I was thinking of using thermistor , but no idea how to calabrate it , possibly using a turntable And calling to 33 1/3 and 45 .
Or just set fire to a ping pong ball and time it
If anyone has got a small Aninomiter it would be really helpful.
Or we could just take a guess and go for it i recon we could get up to1200 sq foot ontop of the toilet and see what happens.
I have one.
You saved the day
It works and it workd well
More words or it didn’t happen
Outside temperature 11deg inside 15deg air exit 12 deg incoming air 13 deg so over 50% of heat recuvered
Ps now to figure out just how well it worked and we need flow rates .
Or just go ahead and build one and see how well it works .
Excellent!
Let me know if you need Lucas to do some mathematics/physics.
That’s pretty damn good. Bear in mind that efficiency drops with higher flows, so you can’t slap a single number on it, but still - bodes well!
Am going to figure out How to measure the air flow
If he wants to figure it out it would be great is i am just silly at the moment when are you two around
?
