Freestanding shelving unit

Something I finished up last week, a low bookshelf made from sapele - really happy with how the colour came out after a few coats of oil.

These little copper screw covers worked pretty well too I think, only cost about about 60p each and saved me having to have visible screws ruining the finish

@mbg I just used the mitre saw, the trick is to get all your angled cuts done on the same day, without changing the angle setting since once it gets reset you’ll probably never be able to get it back to exactly the right angle.

Thanks - it’s about 1.2m wide, slightly over 1m tall and 22cm deep
