I hope someone here can help me!
I have a refugee family living with me (relevant because they have very, very little money!) and they have been donated a laptop.
It is a very old HP, which worked perfectly for 30 minutes then died. I have tried the usual- turning off and on, removing battery, leaving plugged in rather than working from battery power etc.
Firstly; any ideas; secondly is there anywhere or anyone that could look at it for free?
They really need it for job applications, sorting out accommodation (they don’t want to be in my spare room forever),keeping in touch with family etc, so I’d be very grateful if someone could help!
