Electronics help on arduino

My arduino is refusing to upload code for some reason. I’m on an imac and I’m getting this message:

Error: no valid jtag interface configured

Anyone know how to fix this ?

FYI I dunno if it’s resolved but this was an Arduino M0 Pro

Thanks for the help Courty!

Turned out the usb cable I was using was supplying power only.
