Perhaps a silly question (we allow those, don’t we?), but where does the DC come from to step down? I’m assuming a bench power:supply? Is this a safety or best practice decision? Otherwise why not just have a bunch of ‘wall warts’?
Or are they for use with battery supplies?
Just a psu with a known isolation
