A few photos of the handover would be good, and we’ll do a bit of social media
@Howard @Willybood @electronoob Richard from Hackspace Manchester reckons he’ll be there approx 12:20…just driven all the way from Manchester…maybe make sure the coffee machine is working?
See if there’s anything this else from our clear out that they might want.
I put a note on the bandsaw inviting them to take anything on or below the pasting table.
Where is the perspex box that the electronics waist was in ?
A member - Tariq? - took it. He had already talked to someone about having it, and has a project that needs some of that material. I don’t think he needs all of it, so if you want some for blast valves or whatever, contact him.
Seems like a good example of where your donating policy is needed.
I thought that I had said that the workshop wanted it ?
Will kind of need all of it
I am sorry. I had forgotten you said you wanted it when Tariq (?) arrived and I happened to be in the Space. I now remember a long complicated Discourse thread about whether that material could be laser-cut, which your project (blast valves?) depended on. Frankly, I have been keeping dozens of verbal and online “Up for Grabs” conversations in my head over recent weeks, and with my lousy memory I can’t remember who said they wanted what, for what purpose, when they would pick it up and where it would be kept until then. The solution is a disposal policy document, which I am working on, which will include a labelling system establishing “ownership” of an item and what is to happen to it. ‘Cos I can’t fuckin’ remember it all, much less comb through Discourse threads to find out. I won’t attempt another clearout of the snug or anyplace else until the policy and labelling system is in place.
Do you want me to contact Tariq (?) and get it back?
Yes if would be possible
