Deadmans switch for stand ups

At the request of the team I manage, I’ve made a cardboard device that starts to play a tune after a button is held down for about 90 seconds. This way no one talks for too long during our 15 minute stand ups. It’s gone down well, so I’m planning on putting together a more robust one at the makerspace.

I was hoping to do some 3D printing for it soon, should I buy some new filament? If there’s any at the space I’m happy to leave some money for it.

If anyone’s interested in making any of their own, I’m hosting my code and project files on GitHub. I’ll be adding the 3D files and when they’re done.

After a couple of months of testing and a few iterations, I’ve put together a more robust version and updated the GitHub project page to match.

The next step is to put together a brass version with the new lathe when it’s setup (with thanks to @Barnaby_Coote for the suggestion).
