Hey guys, with the sun out in full force this weekend, I wanted to make use of some t shirts I had and print some images onto them.
I have to hand a prepared cyanotype kit with a brush, and some white t shirts. My plan is to get some images printed tomorrow.
Does the space have any glass knocking about to hold the transparent sheets in place while they’re being exposed? And maybe some hydrogen peroxide to deepen the blues afterwards.
All done! Dropping pictures to thank @Lia@iNerdier@LouLou and Orrery Mark whose username I can’t seem to track down, this was a fun process, will attempt again the next time the suns out!
I brought some laser safe sheets and printed them off in the space, I think the black toners low atm so I stacked 1 black layer and 1 colour printed layer, I think next time I’ll get them printed at a print shop to improve the opacity
Would love to hear more about what you found around exposure times some time @iNerdier - wondering if you can do some kinda long exposure effects with moving lighting (the lighting moving around sundials). Perhaps when we cross over at the space some time. Awesome print
