Commercial Workshop - where it all works

If all you are after is access to a workshop for a project, you should consider https://buildingbloqs.com/

They are more expensive but you will be inducted immediately and have access to working machinery that includes sewing - laser - wood - spray painting section - wood cnc - welding - engineering,(turning, milling, surface grinding) and large scale metal cnc …

It horses for courses as they say and you get what you pay for

:heart_eyes::heart_eyes: it looks so tidy :heart_eyes::heart_eyes:

We often refer people to our friends at Building Bloqs if we think a commercial workspace is what they’re looking for

£27 a day for the smallest bench space on a pay as you go basis is excellent value when compared with renting your own full-time studio space. The beauty is you can factor this in directly as a cost when planning commercial work

The prices are discounted if you take a bay for a longer period - they have several long term tenants

There is a sense of community among the regular users and management/operational teams - it is a warm friendly place

A fair number of user’s who use the space are non commercial and the commercial users range from artists, marine engineering, fabricators, furniture designers, shop fitters, display designers etc

They have an amazing cafe too and a maned shop to get your consumables on site

Also: no longer any yearly membership fee, which I always saw as a barrier to spontaneous use
