Former member and Trustee @sarahbarber has recently run a Codebar event in Brighton.
Their website says:
“codebar is a non-profit initiative that facilitates the growth of a diverse tech community by running regular programming workshops”
Not sure we have a big enough space for one of their events, but thought I’d post here to see if any members had experience with them? I’ve made initial contact with the West London chapter.
Note: these are events targeted specifically away from our core membership – I.E. not for while males: we have plenty targeting us. So hosting this would be towards outreach, diversity and inclusion. All long-term Makerspace values/goals.
