We’ve long talked about having a CNC…maybe we can try one out at little cost to the Space. The idea is to have a small scale CNC in the Space and work through capabilities, technical and skills requirements etc, with a view to understanding the long-term fit of such equipment in the workshop
A member (or two) willing to champion the cause of CNC this will be key to it happening
We would of course need to have some form of CNC machine too, possibly a well-honed ShapeOko
So this is the call out: would you be willing to put in the time to guide the Space through the world of CNC? It would involve maintaining the CNC, overseeing Risk Assessments, inductions and other necessary training. Let us know below
