Could anyone please advise me, if I drove my car to the space, how likely is it that there would be space near the front door for me to park? Thanks.
Depends on when you go. During the day, there can be a lot of traffic/parked cars at the mechanics. Other times, there’s plenty of space. You can always go through the arch by turning right then left at the gates and park between the railway lines. It’s a bit grubbier back there, but far less traffic.
Several regular members drive to the space, so it’s totally doable.
In the evenings you’re probably quite safe, and so long as you’re happy to move your car, a moderate amount of double parking is accepted on the estate.
During the day, you’ll have a bit more difficulty - the parking situation can get pretty tricky although usually in my experience, you’ll be able to get a space if you keep an eye out and are prepared to play automobile Jenga.
thanks a lot.
Also wherever you park, Alex the grumpy mechanic will probably moan about it, but don’t worry about him, he just enjoys moaning. He was giving the Hitachi guys a very hard time last week about their van.
In the evening after 7, parking on Norwood Road is free and there are always spaces.
Also feel free to remind the mechanics that their customer Mr Chabeeb has been parked there over a year, as too has the blue car, and neither are in their parking area.
