Yes that’s me. The only trouble is the clean shavings are created faster than I can use them. So if a bag gets completely filled with clean shavings it could then have food waste from the kitchen added to it, put in one of the wheelie bins outside and then get collected and composted by quantum.

See your point Mark. I think maybe it only works because not many people know about it. If it looked like a bin it would probably get full of all sorts.

It would be great if I can take the odd bag for smoker fuel. Not very often composing has first dibs.
Wonder if I need to think about what shavings I take in terms of the smoke being poisonous to the bees? Pretty clueless about that. Maybe I’ll ask for advice at the time.
I’m guessing compositing may have similar but less if the conpost is being used for food production. Can of worms?
