Bench grinder update
I just thought I would update on my bench grinder modification. I have been using the grinder plenty since I got rid of the totally inadequate tool rests, supplied with most grinders. The results I have been getting are universally good. I wish I had more blades to adjust. I hurried preparing a blade for the sharpening workshop, I burnt the edge. It’s the first time I have ever done this, I normally work slowly. I am a big fan of “slow woodwork” ha ha ha, it’s all I know. I had to grind away the burnt metal on this blade. You can see that good, even results are achievable and very easy. Definitely worth spending the time making this upgrade. The blade shown still has the burr attached if you are wondering about the jagged edge.
