Any wood techs in tonight?

@woodtechs
Was hoping someone would be in tonight to help me diagnose an issue with my track saw
It’s a McCallister, but it’s not cutting straight, can’t tell if it’s the blade, track or something else.

Would appreciate another set of eyes if woodtechs or anyone’s in who’s can lend a hand

Not an expert/woodtech by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m curious enough to want to know more if you don’t mind

How does it manifest?
Does the saw pull on the track as you’re cutting? Does the track move? Does the saw get stuck on the track?

Or alternatively, do you make cuts and then at the end you look down and the result is bendy? But the track hasn’t moved during that time?

As far as I can tell track and timber doesn’t move at all, but then when I hold a spirit level up to the cut after it’s all over the place, sometimes there’s high spots at the start and end, sometimes the opposite.

I’ve ordered a new blade and gonna pick up a new track tomorrow, between them should be able to sort it

Again more curiosity than anything else. What are you cutting? How thick is it and how is it supported?

I’m wondering if it might be flexing?

Plywood, various thicknesses 5.5mm to 18mm
I noticed the other day the blade having difficulty getting through material hence getting the blade changed.
But very odd that the actual straight line isn’t straight at all, I’m wondering if the track has become warped ….
