Amazon Echo Dot - Group Buy (£41.70)

Hi Everyone,

I’m thinking about buying an Amazon Echo Dot (Amazon Echo without the speaker) and wondered if there are 5 people out there that want to get in on a discount??

The 6 pack discount makes them £41.70 each, rather than £50. I’m happy to buy them and drop them off at the space at the weekend as they start shipping on Thurs.

I plan to use it as is, but I’m sure you can think of some great hacks to incorporate it into other hardware.

I just got JVC speaker couple of weeks back - it’s great, love it - would’ve been good to save some cash with your discount idea though! Great idea for group discount for other things in the future.

Imagine how much more you’d love your speakers if you could talk to them! Might get a little bit Joaquin Phoenix in the film Her though…!

I would have been tempted but I don’t have speakers.

I plan to use it as an alarm and radio as it has its own speaker, albeit a
small one.

Hmm, I have Hue lights, and wanted to use it for that basically, but I am not sure if it works with the old base station I have.
