There is an easy calculation for discussing if you have enough of any gadget or grown up toy…
The number is always N + 1 except where the proposed N + 1 is greater than D - 1
N being the number of items owned and D being the number of items before your other half divorces you.
Given that the Makerspace will never divorce you, the answer to ‘how many should I have’ is always N + 1
