Hello, I'd llke to use the Lasercutter

I have used a Lasercutter before so I wouldn’t need too much ‘looking after’ and I would like to use one for an hour this Friday, after 3pm. To cut Perspex. I was wondering if I can volunteer some time to MakerSpace and use it for free for the hour? If not, what would you charge for an hour?

Just to cut out? Etching isn’t working so good right now

oh ok I can just cut then thats ok. 5-6mm Perspex.

Just let me know if that’s ok to come after 3.30pm this Friday to use the lasercutter for an hour, thanks!! Also if there’s a charge, what would it be?

Elizabeth I am pretty annoyed. I made the effort to be there on my day off and changed my plans. We don’t normally offer non members access to our facilities and the laser cutter wouldn’t normally be free either.

Unfortunately I won’t be changing my schedule to do this again as this has wasted my time.

I thought the space was open all day, with people using the equipment per hour, like the other places I have been to. I didn’t realise someone had to make special plans for me, and I offer an apology for wasting your time.

No, the space is a community workshop, there are no staff or anything.
