There is now a timer installed next to the door to turn on the air circulation fans thanks to @joeatkin2 . Currently it is programmed to come on from 12pm - 2pm and 9:30pm - 10:30pm so twice a day. Hopefully this is a good compromise for now and less complex than motion and shutter sensors, we can adjust the times as necessary.
A press of the “BOOST” button will also activate them on-demand for 1hr. when desired.
